For so many of us, the December holidays bring out some of our fondest memories! Quilt Company has done it again with another spectacular quilt! Christmas is that dreamy time of year where candy cane houses and marshmallow pops are just a small part of our fondest memories. From icicles to snow hats, stockings to ornaments, plus a Christmas Tree home, and rosebud snowflakes, this quilt captures so many of those fun times with these adorable little birdies... and of course, don't forget the Peppermints! Plus, that Candy Cane border and giant centered snowflake is the perfect setting for these Christmas singers! Peppermint Place features Maywood fabrics, and was designed by Arlene Stamper and Melissa Harris of The Quilt Company, famous for some of our most popular previous projects, including Sew Spooky, Lovebird Lane, Rosebud Lane, Thyme to Water and Holly Lane. Peppermint Place combines easy piecing with simple fused applique. Our block of the month kits will include all the exact fabrics shown in the original for your quilt top and binding. Finished size: 64" x 64"
This is a 6 month BOM (or you can choose to have it shipped All at Once) which will begin shipping in November/December depending on fabric availability. The BOM (or full kit) includes all of the fabric required to complete the quilt top as shown, in the exact fabrics as shown, including binding. Easy-to-follow instructions are also featured in each of the patterns, which are also included. Coordinating backing fabric is also available for pre-order - the backing is $49.95 and will be shipped with the first month.
Add special delight as the piecing and applique progresses by using the Accessory Fabric Packet, which contains a sheet of fabric with pre-printed designs on it that you cut out and sew into the quilt. The Accessory Pack includes packages under the Christmas Tree house, "snowbirds welcome" sign, Christmas tree, Gingerbread, and candles in the window, plus Santa's List and more! It is included with the Block of the Month cost.
There is also a very cute specialty button pack available. This includes a star, rudolph bird nose, and peppermint swirls. It is optional and NOT included in the Block of the Month cost; you will need to order it separately if you'd like to have that.
This BOM program is for six months. Each month for the first five months you will receive all of the fabrics to create a beautiful bird house block. In month six you will receive all of the fabrics to finish the top including two outer borders and the binding. THE BLOCK OF THE MONTH INCLUDES THE FABRIC ACCESSORY PACK, which you will receive the first month. The button embellishment pack is optional, but also available - you will need to order that separately.
And if you can't wait to get it finished, you can order all 6 months at once! Coordinating backing fabric from the collection will also be available for a limited time. Patterns and accessory packs can be purchased separately, or you can purchase the block of the month fabric without the patterns if you already have the patterns.
